What? Come join us for kid-focused activities. Children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult throughout the programming item.
Where? Kids programming will be in room 303 (across from entrances C and D to the 3rd floor conference center.) There is a quiet play space next door in room 304E.
Want to help? We’re still hoping for more volunteers for our Carnival of Games event from 3-5pm on Saturday. The more volunteers we have, the more games we can offer. Interested? Email programming@tcpaganpride.org .
Note: We are working on a few more programming options (and will also be including information here about kid-friendly entertainment acts.) Keep checking back for updates!
Saturday:
11am to noon: MN Besom Brigade Open Practice
Open to all ages; kids are especially welcome!
Ever wanted to “twirl” a broom with a bunch of Witches? Well, this is your chance! If you have a broom, bring it…if you don’t…come on down anyway! We’ll laugh and we’ll sing as we learn the routines. Then at 12noon we’ll perform and show off our Witchy pride!
3-5pm: Carnival of Games
Brought your kids and don’t know what there is for them to do? Bring them to the Children’s Carnival. This event will give your children a couple hours of fun as they play some carnival games and interact with
other pagan / pagan-friendly kids. The activity is open to “kids” of any age so drop on in! Sponsored by The Earth House Project, and Bonita and Mary.
Sunday:
11am to 12pm: Pagan Parenting with Wendy
Raising a child in the Pagan tradition comes with its own unique challenges. There’s no Vacation Bible School, no Children’s Church, no Veggie Tales. Come and discuss with other Pagan parents how you communicate your beliefs to your children.
