Paganicon 2022, scheduled for March 18 – 20th, is currently planned to be an in-person conference.
No event or gathering can be completely risk-free from COVID-19, but there are actions we can take to minimize the risks.

Twin Cities Pagan Pride plans to require the following for Paganicon 2022:

1. All attendees, including those with proof of vaccination, will need to provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours in order to check in and obtain their badge. Low or no-cost COVID-19 tests are available to everyone in the U.S., including the uninsured, at health centers and select pharmacies nationwide. At this time, we do not plan to accept the at-home tests for this purpose.

2. All attendees will need to wear a face mask throughout the event and respect social distancing measures.

We respect and encourage vaccination to protect yourself and others from COVID-19, however, breakthrough infections are becoming more and more common, and proof of vaccination is no guarantee that you do not have the disease.  The first documented case of the Omicron variant in Minnesota was someone who attended a convention where proof of vaccination was required.

It is our hope that requiring a negative test instead of just proof of vaccination will help to keep our community as safe and healthy as possible.
