We’re excited to announce some great information about Paganicon 2012. Some of our plans are still in progress – sign up for our information list in the left sidebar to get further information as it becomes available.
When: March 16th to 18th, 2012.
Where: The Doubletree Park Place in St. Louis Park, MN (same as last year). If you’d like to reserve a hotel room (Please! It’s a great way to enjoy the event and not have to drive), you can make a reservation through the hotel. (Using this link will get you the best rates we could arrange, and count your reservation toward our room count: king rooms or double/doubles are $79 plus taxes a night, suites start at $119.)
All convention events will be on the second floor (their upstairs conference space and the suites along the atrium) making it even easier to get between different items.
Our Guests of Honor: We’re delighted to welcome Christopher Penczak and S.J. Tucker as our guests this year. You can find out more about them over on our guests of honor page.
What we’re planning: Your membership will cover all convention events. We expect these to include:
- Multiple tracks of programming, workshops, and rituals (more space than last year!) Got an idea? You can suggest something you’d like to see on our brainstorming form, or propose an event using our proposal form.
- Two guests of honor from outside the Upper Midwest.
- Two great music/entertainment nights (Friday and Saturday evening) including our All Snakes’ Day Dance ball and concert on Saturday night.
- A hallway of hospitality suites sponsored by groups and individuals for socializing, networking, and fun. (Check out our hospitality suite information for more details.)
- Vendors with great things to share and sell.
We’re currently considering a few other plans (such as an optional food event) and will have details for that in the near future.
Cost: We’ve launched a great new online registration tool that makes registration simple for you, and easier for us! More details about registration can be found elsewhere on this site.
- $65 until February 23rd, 2012 (when pre-registration will close)
- $80 at the door (up to our membership cap of 350)
Special note to vendors: As we did last year, we will be offering up to two discounted memberships for each vendor ($30 per registration). This will be part of our vendor registration process.
