Part of creating a great event is attention to the practical details.
Hotel: We loved being at the Doubletree Park Place in 2011, and we will be back in 2012.
Getting there: We wanted a site that would offer options for those who take public transportation as well as those who drive. The hotel offers free parking, and is near a major and frequent bus line.
Accessibility: Creating an event that could include people with accessibility concerns was and continues to be very important to us. (And please let us know if there are other things we should consider.)
Food: Good food is a big part of creating a great community feeling. We love the hotel in part because it has a wide range of food options available (and a great restaurant).
