Dear Merchants and Organizations,
It’s that time of the year again, and so I am pleased to announce that this year’s Pagan Pride event will be held on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, at Sabathani Community Center, located at 310 38th Street East in Minneapolis. This is after the Renaissance Festival ends, but early enough that we hope for good weather. We are truly looking forward to another two day event, as we really had a chance to increase the activities and events that we offered. We will also be expanding the menu offered at this year’s event, something that many of you asked for in the survey last year, offering some simple breakfast items such as muffins and fruit, coffee, and juice as well as expanding choices later in the day.
New this year:
There are a few changes this year for vendors and organizations, and hopefully everyone will see them as improvements.
First, Pagan Pride has officially applied for 501(c)3 status; as a requirement of applying, we wrote a formal vendor policy which vendors and organizations will need to read and agree to. It’s fairly simple, and I am available to answer any questions you have. You can download a PDF of the vendor policy here.
Second, we will be offering a new set–up area for informational groups only outside the vendor room in the hall. There will be only eight of these spaces available at the price of $50 per space. There will be no Early Bird discount available for these spaces. This area will be completely reserved for those groups who sell nothing and are distributing information only (they may accept donations). These eight tables will be given to the first eight groups that request them and are paid in full; after that, groups will be notified that these tables are full and will be offered space inside the Vendor Room at the regular Vendor Room rate.
Rates:
Inside the Vendor Room, we will continue to offer both 6×6 and 8×8 spaces, and the prices will be the same as last year, $80 for a 6×6, and $110 for an 8×8. Like last year, there are some great discount opportunities:
1. Early Bird Discount: Early Bird registration will run through August 9th, and will be $60 for a 6×6 space and $90 for an 8×8 space. To secure the Early Bird price, you must be registered and paid in full (online) as of midnight the date of the deadline, or registration and payment must be postmarked by that date.
2. Bring Your Own Table: Receive an automatic $10 discount if you do not require TCPP to provide a table for your booth.
3. Donate: Vendors who donate goods or services worth $25 or more to the Silent Auction/Door Prize Drawing will receive a $5 discount. This discount may be used twice (meaning that two separate items may be donated for a maximum of $10 off the total space fee).
Event Hours:
TCPP event hours are Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and Sunday 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
The Vendor Room Hours are Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Sunday 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Doors will open for vendor set up at 8:00 A.M. Saturday and 10:30 A.M. Sunday.
You must be fully set up and ready to roll by 10:00 A.M. Saturday and 11:00 A.M. Sunday. Please plan to be fully torn down and cleaned up by 6:30 P.M. Sunday.
Don’t forget the Silent Auction!
As always, we greatly appreciate any and all donations to our Silent Auction, which has continued to grow in size, quality, and generated revenue over the years, due mostly to the generous donations of our various vendors. As always, auction items will be displayed with the name and booth location of the donating vendor.
Prize Raffle:
We have decided to repeat the prize raffle that we started last year. Each guest at TCPP will receive a card with the names of all of the vendors on it. As the guest stops at each booth, he/she will have the vendor stamp the card. When the guest has gotten a stamp from each booth, they will be eligible to turn in the card to receive a raffle ticket. Prizes will be drawn at regular intervals; guests must be present to win. This activity is designed both to heighten overall traffic in the vendor room and to encourage our guests to really take a good look at each booth. The names and booth locations of those who donate prizes will be announced as prizes are awarded.
Sponsorship:
If you are interested in additional sponsorship of Twin Cities Pagan Pride, we have several levels to choose from, varying from $10 to $1,000. Individual sponsors will receive various TCPP items, such as pins and bumper stickers, and corporate sponsors will receive special mentions and/or advertisements in our program book, links on our websites, and full color signage on one of our various programming rooms. Please contact info@TCPaganPride.org for more information.
Special Needs:
Please remember to list any special requirements you may have on your vendor form. Special requirements include (but are not limited to) access to electricity, specific placements, etc. Please be assured that we will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but we cannot guarantee it.
How to register:
