Welcome!

Twin Cities Pagan Pride is an organization that offers events and resources to the Twin Cities (Minnesota) community.

Support Us!

We welcome all kinds of support – whether that’s money, time, or help getting the word out about our events.

Volunteer!

We’re entirely volunteer run, and we welcome all sorts of volunteers – everything from someone offering an hour at an information table to year-long event planning positions. We’re glad to work with you to find an option that fits your interests and available time. Check out the information below for more details on our current volunteer needs.

Donations:
We appreciate all donations! They help us keep our free to attend Fall Pagan Pride event going.

Twin Cities Pagan Pride is a 501(c)3 educational organisation as of late September 2008. This means that all donations to us are tax deductible. We deeply appreciate whatever amount of help you can offer us to support our events. (Donations may also be sent to paypal@tcpaganpride.org – or email info@tcpaganpride.org if you’d like to discuss other alternatives).

Twin Cities Pagan Pride items:

We’ve set up an account with Skreened, a US based printing company using shirts and other items made in the US using environmentally aware methods by fair wage employees. Visit our shop at http://skreened.com/tcpaganpride and order a shirt!

You might want to know:

  • Women’s sizes run small, especially the fitted shirts.
  • Colored designs (like the lady/lord image) work best on light colored shirts – pale yellow, silver, white, cream, etc. We’ll be working on some black and white images that will work on darker colors.

We also have mugs, bumper stickers, and pins available for sale at our events. If you’d like to purchase one of these at other times, please send us an email at info@tcpaganpride.org, and we’ll make arrangements.

How to volunteer:

Email us at info@tcpaganpride.org letting us know you’re interested (and what you’re interested in.) You should also sign up for our mailing list (in the purple box on the left hand side of this page): we’ll send notes about upcoming events or volunteer help we need to that list.

At events:
If we’re running an event, we’d love your help! We appreciate help setting up and cleaning up afterwards, but we also have a lot of tasks that are great for someone who wants to sit down and help people coming into the event find their way to what interests them.

Our fall Pagan Pride event always can use people willing to spend an hour or two helping at our information table or with set-up or clean-up. Our Paganicon event needs people to staff the registration table, or to check badges.

Event planning:
TC Pagan Pride currently seeks community members to fill the following vacancies:

  • Website Lead (Our sites use WordPress, and our current web manager is glad to help you get started and provide ongoing support. This person should be able to attend meetings  regularly, though not necessarily every month.)
  • Security and Ambassador Lead (responsible for overseeing general security and problem-resolution needs at events in consultation with the executive board).
  • Development Lead (Primarily local fund raising to be expanded with TCPP as an organization)

Board meetings are monthly (and currently rotate locations), but a number of positions do not need to attend every meeting.
