Frequently Asked Questions

On this page, you’ll find answers to some common questions we’ve heard. If you have other questions, please email us at info@tcpaganpride.org for the quickest response.

Do I have to be Pagan to come?
Absolutely not! Many of the people who come to our event come to learn more about Paganism out of curiousity, a desire to support and understand a friend or family member, or just plain wanting a fun afternoon with great music and other events. It’s always fine to sit back and observe if you’d rather.

If you have questions or confusions, please ask our front desk staff – if they can’t answer something, they’ll find one of our board members who can help you.

Where do I start?
When you get to the site, please come to our second floor information desk. (Signs and blue tape on the floor will point the way from the parking lot and front entrance.) Get a program and other information – and we’ll ask you to take a wristband to help us keep count of attendees. (You don’t have to wear it, but if you don’t stick it on something visible, we’ll probably check to see you got one later in the day.)

Can I buy food on site?
Yes! Students from Transitions (a Minneapolis public school project teaching life skills) will be providing food during the event. Another vendor in the same room will be providing water.

We use a ticket system for food and drink sales – this makes things easier for our food vendors. You can buy tickets at the Twin Cities Pagan Pride booth by the front desk.

Food choices will include:

  • Tuna sandwiches
  • Turkey sandwiches
  • Hot dogs
  • Salads
  • Chicken wild rice soup (gluten free)
  • Vegetarian chili
  • Chips, cookies, brownies
  • Soda

How do I find my way around?
We have colored tape on the floor to help you find your way to different parts of the event. There’s also a map of the 2nd and 3rd floor spaces in your program.

  • Green leads to the vendors room (2nd floor gym) and blue to entertainment (banquet center)
  • Orange leads to the information table (2nd floor hallway)
  • Yellow leads to Programming spaces (3rd floor conference center and nearby rooms)
  • Red leads to the labyrinth (basement dance studio)

The programming space can be a little confusing, as there are 4 doors. This year, each door has been given a letter (noted with the floor tape) and the program description includes the nearest door(s) for that room.

Does Pagan Pride support any other organisation?
Our food drive, site fees, and food vendor choices all directly support our local community. We’ve also chosen a t-shirt vendor who uses American-made and ethical products. Learn more about our choices here.
