Twin Cities Pagan Pride is proud to announce not just one upcoming major event, but two!

Our Fall Festival will be on September 25th and 26th 2010 at Lake Harriet Spiritual Community in Minneapolis. We’ll have vendors, music, rituals, and workshops. Please take a look at the link (or at the 2010 Pagan Pride link in the header) to learn more.

As always, Twin Cities Pagan Pride (our fall event) is a free event open to the public, though we appreciate donations to local charities (via our food drive and other means), and to help us cover event costs.

We’re also delighted to announce Paganicon, a spring programming-focused conference (with lots of other fun – music, vendors, and more). Again, please check out the link for much more information.

Paganicon will take place at the Doubletree Park Place hotel just off 394 in St. Louis Park, from March 25th to 27th, 2011. Registration starts at $45 (through September 26th, 2010), and we’ve done our best to keep costs low. Registration options will be coming shortly.

Want more information? Sign up for our email list (see the left hand bar) to get updates with all the latest information. (If you’re interested in vending, please also sign up for our vendor list by clicking on the Vendor link in the header and filling out the vendor list information.)

Curious about why we’re making some changes in what we offer? We’ve got more information for you, and we also welcome additional questions at info@tcpaganpride.org .

We’ll be getting more specifics and more detailed thank yous out in the near future, but wanted to thank everyone who helped make Twin Cities Pagan Pride possible this year. That includes our presenters, our entertainment, our vendors, and of course our volunteers. Without you, none of this would be possible!

We especially want to thank everyone who came, who tried out something new, asked a question, made a connection, or otherwise shared in the event. Without you, the attendees, we wouldn’t have an event in the first place. Thanks for taking time out of your weekend and sharing it with us.

Moving forward:
Please share your thoughts about this year’s event in our post-event survey. We’d love to hear about your experiences and what you enjoyed and want to see more of (as well as the things that didn’t work as well for you.)

We’re also looking at some changes to our future plans and schedule, and we’d like your thoughts about this. You can find the explanation of our ideas and a survey about them over here. Feedback at Pagan Pride itself suggests it’s worth exploring these options, so we’ll be doing some research on specifics and holding a public meeting early in 2010 to share our basic plans and ask for more ideas and feedback. (You can also always email us at info@tcpaganpride.org .)

Winter Solstice concert:
We’re looking at scheduling a winter solstice concert fundraiser for future events sometime in mid to late December. We’ll get more information out to you when we have a solid date, location, and performance schedule, so keep an eye open. We post announcements to several local Pagan lists, but we’re also glad to add you to our announcements list – email info@tcpaganpride.org if you’re interested in getting announcements from us, and haven’t already signed up at this year’s event.

Thanks again to everyone who made this year’s event a success!

Come visit us at two Twin Cities events!

Twin Cities Pagan Pride will have a booth at the Twin Cities Gay Pride on June 27th and 28th, 2009. Visit us in Loring Park at booth #6010 (in the purple section). We’re near several other Pagan and Pagan-friendly groups. A complete PDF guide of vendor and exhibit locations is available from the TCPride.org website.

We’re always glad to welcome volunteers to help at this event – come, spend an hour or two talking to others interested in our community! If you’re interested, please email info@tcpaganpride.org and let us know when you’d be free (the booths are open 10am to 6pm on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th.)

For those of you attending Convergence (a science-fiction convention held July 2nd to 4th in Bloomington), Twin Cities Pagan Pride will be hosting a party room on Thursday and Friday nights. Look for us listed as The Witches’ Cauldron. (Membership in Convergence is required for party attendance.)

Both of these events are a great chance for us to talk more about what we do (as Pagans, and as Twin Cities Pagan Pride) with others inside and outside the Pagan community – we think they’re a great way to let people know about our educational focus.

Programming:

Got something you want to share with others? Check out our Programming information page for more on how to propose an item of programming for this year’s event.

Art Contest:

Our art contest is still open for submissions – but hurry, because we’ll be looking at all submitted entries right after our July 15th deadline. Find out more about what we’re looking for, and send in your art! Win a 6×6 vendor space for our festival for your use or that of a vendor or group you wish to support who’ll be there.
